미국 의회 톰 랜토스 인권위원회 청문회에 전광훈 목사의 증언을 채택

Despite receiving personal invitations from Ambassador Brownback and Dr. Lantos-Swett,
Rev. Jun Gwang-hoon was unable to leave South Korea and participate in the IRF Summit
in Washington, D.C. Rev. Jun participated in the inaugural IRF Summit through video and
made a speech during the closing ceremony dinner.

One Korea Network (OKN) introduced Rev. Jun’s case, who has been unfairly oppressed
under the South Korean Moon Jae-in administration and helped him submit his written
testimony at a hearing on religious freedom to the U.S. Congress’ Tom Lantos Human
Rights Commission.

브라운백 대사와 랜토스 대표의 개인적인 초청이 있었음에도 불구하고 전광훈 목사는
한국을 떠나 워싱턴에서 열리는 국제종교자유정상회의(IRF)에 참여할 수 없었다. 이에
따라 전광훈 목사는 IRF 부대행사에 화상으로 참여했고 폐회식 만찬에서 화상으로
연설을 했다.

원코리아네트워크(OKN)는 IRF에서 한국 문재인 정권 하에서 부당한 억압과
탄압을 받고 있는 전광훈 목사의 사례를 소개하고, 미 의회 톰 랜토스 인권위원회
종교관련 청문회에서 전광훈 목사의 서면 증언을 공식 채택할 수 있게 도왔다.
