2015 Annual Enrollment
Medical Beneits
Medical
BRP offers eligible full-time employees and their dependents medical
coverage through a self-funded plan administered by United Healthcare.
As in the past, all employees will access the United Healthcare ChoicePlus
Network. This network offers extensive discounts and wide provider
coverage. To conirm your provider is in network, visit www.myuhc.com, call
UHC customer service at (866) 222-3365, or verify with your provider.
Plan Changes
BRP will not be changing the medical plan for 2015. The current Consumer
Directed Health Plan (CDHP) will remain. Employees currently served by
all US policies will be eligible for this plan.
Combinations offered will be the CDHP with Health Savings Account
(HSA) and CDHP with Health Reimbursement Account (HRA). The
CDHP with HRA option will be available to employees who do not qualify
for the HSA. This includes employees enrolled in Medicare or Medicaid and
those covered by Tricare. In this case, BRP’s plans would be primary while
the government plan would pay secondary.
Review the plan highlights carefully. Plan elections are binding for the
remainder of the policy year unless you experience a change in family status.
All employees will receive new medical cards based on the change in EAP
providers.
Prescription Drug Coverage
Prescription coverage will also be available through UHC and is part of your
medical plan. All prescription drugs are subject to your annual deductible.
There is no copay until deductible is met.
