Short Term Disability (STD)
Peak-Ryzex provides, at no cost to you, short term disability. Our
company paid policy provides you with a percentage of your weekly
income while you are out of work following a non-work related accident
or illness.
STD Beneits At-a-Glance
Symetra
Beneit Amount 60% of your salary up to a maximum of $2,000 per week
Cost Peak-Ryzex pays
Waiting Period 7 days for accident
7 days for illness
Duration Up to 25 weeks
Long Term Disability (LTD)
Long term disability (LTD) protects your family by providing you with a
percentage of your income while you are disabled for a longer period than
short term disability would otherwise cover.
LTD Beneits At-a-Glance
Symetra
Beneit Amount 60% of your pre-disability earnings up to $10,000 maximum per
month
Cost Peak-Ryzex
Waiting Period 180 days
Duration Up to age 65 or Social Security Normal Retirement Age if
you continue to be deemed disabled according to the plan
requirements
