How to register for the program
The program is available for all OCLC employees and spouses that are enrolled
in an OCLC medical plan. Visit join.virginpulse.com/oclc to register. Fill in the
registration information, accept the privacy policy and membership agreement,
enter an email address, choose a password, and click “Let’s get started” to
complete the registration process.
You can register from any computer or via the Virgin Pulse app. Through the app,
click on “Create account” and then type in OCLC in “Search.” You will then be
taken to the join process.
Five steps to get started
1. Activate your Virgin Pulse account by visiting join.virginpulse.com/oclc.
2. Download the Virgin Pulse mobile app for iOS or Android.
3. Connect an activity tracker to get credit for your activities. Virgin Pulse syncs
with many devices and apps (Apple, Max Buzz, Fitbit, Misfit, etc.).
4. Upload a profile picture and add some friends.
5. Start a healthy competition and create or join a challenge with coworkers.
Health assessment
The Member Health Assessment (MHA) consists of questions about
specific lifestyle habits. Your MHA responses are analyzed to show your
risk level and generate a Health Index. You can complete your MHA at
join.virginpulse.com/oclc or the Virgin Pulse app. In order to earn a $150
medical plan premium reduction for 2020, this must be completed no later than
November 15, 2019.
Tobacco-free agreement
Self-report tobacco-free or pass the Tobacco Reasonable Alternative by
November 15, 2019, to receive an annualized $50 premium reduction.
Biometric screening
Biometric screenings will be offered on-site this year. These screenings provide
vital information about your overall health, including cholesterol (total, LDL,
and HDL), triglycerides, cardiac risk, glucose, blood pressure, height, weight,
body mass index (BMI), and waist measurement. If you are unable to attend
a biometric screening event, you may fulfill the screening requirement by
visiting your physician or a Quest Patient Service Center. In order to earn a $150
premium reduction for 2020, this must be completed no later than November 15,
2019. Contact the Virgin Pulse customer service line at 866.941.2143 with any
questions or concerns about the Virgin Pulse online screening sign-up process.
