At Stein Mart, we believe our benefits should make a difference to you and your family. We are pleased to
provide you and your family with a variety of benefits, allowing you to customize a package that meets your
particular needs.

Please read this Benefit Guide carefully, as it will assist you in understanding the benefits offered by Stein
Mart, effective January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020.
You will also learn about helpful online tools that are available for managing your benefits, claims and
accessing additional resources.
Benefits À La Carte
Choosing the right combination of benefits can help protect you and your family's health, finances - and your
family's future. When you enroll in benefits, you have the option to enroll in any or all of the benefit plans.
Summary Plan Descriptions and Legal Note
The plan descriptions herein are brief descriptions of each benefit offered. Please refer to the Summary Plan
Descriptions on the enrollment site (MyWorkPlace.net), Internal Sharepoint and the Associate Benefits Site
(employees.steinmart.com) for the comprehensive legal descriptions of the plans. If there is any discrepancy
between this guide and the official plan documents, the plan documents supersede. In addition, the Annual
Compliance Notices are located on these sites.
The benefit options you select will be binding. You will be governed by the terms, provisions and restrictions of
the plans in which you enroll. Generally, unless you experience a Qualifying Life Event, your elections will
remain in effect for the entire plan year. By completing your enrollment, you authorize Stein Mart to deduct
contributions from your paycheck, now and in the future as required under each of the plans.
