Patton Logistics Benefits Enrollment
A Letter from the Owner—Spencer Patton
Valued Team Members,
April 1st will be a very special and important day in the history of Patton Logistics. Through all of our collective
efforts, we have taken this company from a small, 10 employee operation in Springield, IL, to an organization
that now has almost 200 employees based out of 10 states! This growth could never have happened without the
hard work of every single one of you.
All I have wanted to do, from the very beginning, is provide a superior company to work for to every single one
of my employees. We try to operate better/safer equipment, employ smart managers, and listen to the feedback
of our employees — even when it has been negative! The mark of a good company is to be able to handle the
good feedback with the bad feedback. On April 1, 2019 — another milestone will be accomplished.
For the irst time, Patton Logistics is going to offer excellent health beneits from a leading brand name provider
at an affordable cost. As an addition, the healthcare policy has a built-in upgrade for prescription drugs — which
will speciically make many of your prescription drugs more affordable than ever before.
Coverage details will be announced soon along with further details on the enrollment process.
Who Will Be Eligible? What Will Be Offered?
All full-time employees actively working at least 30 Medical insurance*
hours per week. Dental insurance
Vision insurance
Eligible Dependents Short term disability insurance
Eligible dependents generally include your legally
married spouse, domestic partner, and children up to Accidental injury insurance
age 26, regardless of their marital, work, or inancial Critical illness insurance
dependency status. Children may include natural, * If you elect the medical plan, you agree to the employee contribution
adopted, step-children, or children obtained through as communicated by Patton Logistics
court-appointed legal guardianship.
Waiting Period
Your beneits are effective the irst of the month following 30 days of employment. All employees hired as of
March 1, 2019 are eligible for beneits during the initial enrollment with an April 1, 2019, effective date.
In summary, I’m excited to offer health insurance to each of you. Patton Logistics has come a very long way in
just a handful of years. Very few FedEx Ground contractors offer health insurance, and even fewer cover rising
costs for free! You and I are building something special — and this healthcare offering is one very tangible way
that I can say THANK YOU!
