Disability Insurance

Have you considered what would happen if you could not go to work as a result of
a disabling illness or accident? Disability insurance goes to work when you can not.

Long Term Disability

Company Paid

Sometimes your circumstances are considered long term often meaning greater
inancial stress and hardship for your family. ATS offers a company paid long term
disability (LTD) policy to ensure your inancial protection for a longer period of
time when necessary. Full-time employees are eligible for this coverage the irst of

the month following 24 months of active continuous employment. In the event of
an illness or accident which requires a lengthy recovery, you are eligible for a tax-free
beneit equal to 60% of your monthly earning up to a maximum of $10,000 per
month beginning after a 90-day elimination period.

Short Term Disability

Voluntary
If you are unable to work due to a sickness or injury, short term disability insurance

can help you maintain your standard of living. It can help you pay bills like your
mortgage, tuition, and car payments, and help cover expenses for food, clothing, and
utilities. By replacing a portion of your income, short term disability insurance can
help provide inancial security until you get back on your feet and return to work.
You may enroll for short term disability coverage through Alac. The plan covers
up to 60% of your pre-disability earnings up to $3,000 per month, for a maximum
of 3 months.. Beneits begin on the 1st day for an accident and on the 8th day for a
sickness. The cost of the plan is paid on a post-tax basis so beneits will be paid tax-
free.

The cost of this coverage is dependent on your current wages and will be available
to you during open enrollment. If you do not enroll when you are irst eligible for
this coverage, you may be subject to evidence of insurability. Speak with a beneit

counselor to learn more.
