Because:

Not only is this a fantastic ear-worm song, the band’s television performance
on the The Bob Hope Show on October 20, 1965 was worth watching on loop.

A studio version of the song was used to backdrop the performance, allowing
for a simultaneously excellent sound AND visual experience. Each band
member shows his own personality. Lead singer Beverly Bivens’ Happy Feet
routine (coined by a friend before the “Happy Feet” movie) is an absolute
fucking delight. The whole band is full so of passion, one member’s small
gaffe can be forgiven if not adored.

What is more interesting is at the end of the very rousing musical performance
complete with master beats. You look at the four guitarists and one singer
(“We Five”) and wonder… Where’s the drummer?!
