Football. The tournament is scheduled to take place in Dalian, China,
from September 17 to 28.

Sheikh Suhail bin Butti visited the team during a recent training session,
meeting with players and staff to assess the team’s readiness for the
international competition, which will feature 16 national teams. During
his visit, he praised the players and encouraged them to perform at their
best, representing the nation with excellence and sportsmanship.

Ministry of Sports Supports Youth Athletes

Sheikh Suhail highlighted the Ministry of Sports’ ongoing commitment to
supporting student athletes, a key focus under the leadership of Dr.
Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Sports. He commended the
Minister’s efforts to promote university sports and foster global
connections for Emirati youth through international competitions, in line
with the UAE’s leadership directives.

“The UAE team’s participation highlights the country’s dedication to
