Reprogramming Aging: How Epigenetic is Reshaping Longevity with Science Research Wellness
In an insightful exchange, Macpherson outlines his vision for the future of longevity science and the transformative power
        of cellular health.

You have dedicated your career to understanding cellular aging. What inspired your transition from pharmacy and
biotechnology to focusing on aging at the cellular level?
The theme of my career has been focused on two principles – how do I help as many people as possible and how to look
beyond my training as a pharmacist to new technology and combine it to deliver better, safer, more accessible healthcare.

My focus shifted towards longevity over a decade ago as I started to see significant breakthroughs associated with our
understanding of cellular aging. This led to a role as CEO of a New Zealand-based biotechnology company
commercializing a compound that supported mitochondria, our cellular power plants, regain some of the lost function
that occurs as we age. More recently, I have been focused on the changes in cell function that we see with aging and how
to slow or reverse those changes with the goal of having our cells act younger for longer. By doing so, we can lower our
risk and delay the onset of many health conditions associated with advancing age.

If we could significantly slow down or even reverse aging at the cellular level, what would be the broader implications
for healthcare, society, and human longevity?
Slowing aging will be one of the most significant societal shifts in modern times. We are already quite skilled at it and,
globally, have successfully extended our healthspan for nearly two centuries. These advances have unlocked immense
human potential, allowing us to move beyond mere survival and embrace the richness life offers.

The next breakthroughs in longevity will reduce the risks associated with aging, enabling more people to reach advanced
ages in good health. This will alleviate the significant burden on our healthcare systems, allowing us to remain productive
for longer and enjoy meaningful careers and enriched lives. It will also strengthen family units, communities, and nations
by reducing the impact of early and unexpected death.

Many traditional anti-aging solutions focus on cosmetic improvements. How do Science Research Wellness products
differ in addressing aging from within rather than relying on fillers, injections, or surgical procedures?

SRW’s mission is to challenge the way you think about and experience aging because everyone can age better, regardless
of their personal situations and challenges.

Our focus is firmly on reversing or slowing aging at the cellular level. We achieve this by taking a deeper look at the
biological pathways that drive aging across the twelve body systems and formulating products in collaboration with
experts who have decades of experience in understanding these systems.

SRW’s formulations are designed to support twelve different body systems. Could you share insights into how these
targeted interventions promote overall health and well-being?
