The strategic pact

The deal aims to provide direct electronic link services between the Haramain Train
systems and the systems of the Hajj and Umrah Information Center, to make train
tickets available to Hajj and Umrah pilgrims.

SAR is one of the key entities contributing to the pilgrims’ journey in the kingdom,
whether through the Haramain high-speed railway that connects Makkah and
Madinah through Jeddah and King Abdullah Economic City or Al Mashaer Train
in Mecca.

Why it matters?

The strategic partnership will drive a quantum leap in the services provided to Hajj
and Umrah performers, by offering seamless integration between the systems of the
Hajj and Umrah Information Center and the Haramain train systems.

SAR is working on a number of initiatives that will contribute to raising the

operational efficiency of rail transport services, and providing services to customers by
adopting the latest technologies to achieve the goals of Vision 2030 in transforming
the Kingdom into a logistics platform linking the three continents.
