With the aim of transforming rural areas into tourism and cultural destinations, Ajman
inaugurated the Masfout Gate project.

Recently, Masfout Gate was inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi,
Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman. A part of the UAE’s broad villages development

initiative, it is led by the Emirates Council for Balanced Development. This is in cooperation with the
Municipality and Planning Department of Ajman. Here’s all you need to know about the Masfout

Gate project, which was unveiled in the mountainous Masfout region.

Masfout Gate Project Inaugurated By Ajman Ruler

With the aim of transforming rural areas into tourism and cultural destinations, Ajman inaugurated

the Masfout Gate project. The gateway, which was inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Humaid
bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, has been built over an area of 500 m². With the gate rising 16 m high, it

features a 40 m architectural walkway. This has been designed to function as a visual landmark,
which welcomes people to Masfout. Adding architectural value to the region, it is worth mentioning

that Masfout was named the World’s Best Tourism Village 2025 in 2025 by the UN Tourism.
