        The rugged peaks of the Hajar Mountains have long provided a haven for those seeking
        respite from the glittering skylines of the United Arab Emirates. However, the official
        unveiling of the Masfout Gate in the mountain enclave of Masfout marks the beginning of a
        new chapter in rural revitalisation. This architectural marvel was recently inaugurated by His
        Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of
        Ajman, ushering in a new era for one of the region’s most iconic landscapes.
        An Architectural Tribute to Heritage

        The Masfout Gate is not merely a point of entry; it is a meticulously crafted visual landmark
        that occupies a prominent 500-square-metre footprint. Rising to a height of 16 metres, the
        structure is designed to command attention while harmonizing with the surrounding rocky
        terrain. A 40-metre architectural walkway is featured within the project, intended to serve as
        a scenic transition for visitors arriving at this mountainous retreat.


















        The development was spearheaded by the Emirates Council for Balanced
        Development in a strategic partnership with the Municipality and Planning Department
        of Ajman. It is positioned as a cornerstone of the broader national initiative to uplift Emirati
        villages. By merging traditional design motifs with contemporary aesthetics, a bridge is
