Ajman University Launches ‘Masar Career Excellence’ – A UAE First

Ajman University has unveiled Masar Career Excellence, a groundbreaking model that is set to transform how higher education institutions
in the UAE prepare students for the job market. The first of its kind in the country’s academic landscape, the initiative integrates career
development directly into the student journey—starting from enrollment and continuing well beyond graduation.

The Arabic word Masar (رﺎﺳﻣ) means "path", and the new model reflects this vision by offering continuous support across the student lifecycle.
Through a combination of early career orientation, skills training, long-term mentorship, and employer engagement, Masar aims to ensure
that students graduate not only with academic credentials but also with a clear sense of direction and real-world readiness.
“Masar embodies Ajman University’s belief that preparing students for the future requires more than academic excellence,” said Dr.
Karim Seghir, Chancellor of Ajman University. “It calls for an environment where purpose, reflection, and industry engagement are
integrated into the educational journey. Our goal is to produce capable professionals and thoughtful leaders who contribute
meaningfully to society.”

More than just a traditional career services platform, Masar is a comprehensive ecosystem designed to bridge the gap between classroom
learning and workforce expectations. Students benefit from career coaching, industry placements, consulting challenges, expert panels, and
live projects—all designed to build both technical skills and leadership capacity.

The initiative comes as Ajman University earns increasing recognition for its career development strategies. The university was recently
ranked #3 in the UAE for employer reputation in the QS World University Rankings 2026, underscoring the success of its student-
centered, outcome-driven approach.

Masar is closely aligned with the We the UAE 2031 vision and Ajman Vision 2030, both of which prioritize national talent development, youth
