MBRF invites Kuwaiti pupils to Know ledge Week event

In Octo ber 2024, the UNDP will host Know ledge Week in col lab or a tion with
the MBRF and the GSSCPD

In part ner ship with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Mak toum Know ledge Found a tion (MBRF)

and the Gen eral Sec ret ariat of the Supreme Coun cil for Plan ning and Devel op ment (GSSCPD),
the United Nations Devel op ment Pro gramme (UNDP) has launched a call for applic a tions,
invit ing Kuwaiti young nation als and res id ents to par ti cip ate in the Know ledge Week that will
be hos ted in Kuwait City, in Octo ber 2024.

The Know ledge Week aims to empower Kuwaiti youth by equip ping them with future skills

and know ledge to con trib ute to national devel op ment and engage in mean ing ful dia logue
with poli cy makers. The event will take place on 6-10 Octo ber 2024. It will intro duce key note
addresses and stra tegic dia logues, enabling par ti cipants to con nect with decision-makers and
rel ev ant g ures to come up with action able roadmaps for strength en ing Kuwait’s know ledge

infra struc ture and sus tain able devel op ment e orts.
The call for applic a tions to the Know ledge Week in Kuwait is open until 18 August 2024. Youth
aged 18 to 29, who are pas sion ate about devel op ment and cre at ing innov at ive solu tions to the
cur rent national chal lenges, are eli gible to apply. Applic a tions from young women and men

from diverse back grounds, includ ing per sons of determ in a tion, are strongly encour aged.
Jamal Bin Huwaireb, CEO of the MBRF, said: “The MBRF aims to intro duce the Know ledge
Week in Kuwait as a new inspir a tion for Kuwaiti youth to act ively engage in build ing a know -
ledge based soci ety and rein force their involve ment in the sus tain able pro gress of their coun -
