During the event, a Sports Giving Award Ceremony was also held, celebrating more than 30 government
and private sector entities for their support of the UAE’s sports ecosystem. Winners were honored across

three categories: Gold, Silver, and Bronze tiers, recognizing their contributions to youth and professional
sports development.

The UAE Committee for Talent and National Sports Support (UAETSS), established in 2021, is a specialized

entity tasked with discovering and developing promising athletes by coordinating with various
stakeholders, including federations, clubs, educational institutions, and national training centers.

Through the Talent Committee Platform, UAETSS aims to elevate the UAE’s global sports standing and

foster a pipeline of athletes capable of competing on the world stage, including the Olympics.
