During the session titled ‘Beyond the Lens: AI-Driven Innovations in Filmmaking’, Karim Saad, a virtual reality
filmmaker, addressed the growing role of AI in filmmaking and how it can be used to innovate new
technologies and tools that improve production quality, expedite processes, and open up new possibilities in
the film industry.
Saad discussed the positive impact of using AI in pre- and post-production stages, such as improving visual
effects, developing advanced filming techniques, and automating routine processes that allow creators to
focus more on the artistic and creative side, paving the way for a smarter and more creative future in the
filmmaking realm.
