Family Development Foundation Concludes Successful

Participation in GITEX Global 2024

The Family Development Foundation (FDF) has successfully concluded its participation in GITEX Global
2024, where it showcased its innovative ‘Digital System for Social Support for Senior Citizens and
Residents’. This system was developed to enhance service efficiency, improve the quality of life for
senior citizens, and foster a supportive environment that promotes community stability.

FDF’s participation aimed to spotlight its ongoing efforts to uplift senior citizens by ensuring their active
involvement in the UAE’s comprehensive development. The Foundation’s focus is on care and
integration, ensuring senior citizens are empowered both within their families and the wider
community.

Her Excellency Mariam Mohammed Al Rumaithi, Director General of FDF, emphasized the importance of
supporting senior citizens, stating, “Our presence at GITEX Global 2024 is crucial for highlighting
initiatives aimed at enhancing the lives of senior citizens. We are committed to proactively reaching out
and addressing their needs through our comprehensive digital systems.” FDF has developed a centralized
database of senior citizens, aligning with its motto, “If you do not reach us, we will reach you
proactively.”
