The system showcased at GITEX Global 2024 integrates social support services for senior citizens by
analyzing data to provide personalized care based on each individual’s health, economic, and housing
conditions. This technology-driven approach allows FDF to tailor services to better meet the needs of its
beneficiaries.
The Foundation also highlighted key achievements during GITEX, revealing that 152,230 senior citizens
and their families participated in activities at Barakat Al Dar club, while over 67,000 participated in daily
club activities. Additionally, 6,034 seniors attended rehabilitation workshops, and 39,271 received
the Barkitna Card, further integrating them into society.
FDF’s participation at GITEX underscores its commitment to improving the well-being of senior citizens
by providing holistic social, health, and recreational care, reinforcing their role as vital members of the
Emirati community.
