Dubai has taken a significant step in strengthening child welfare and family wellbeing with the launch of the
Dubai Child Protection Framework.

This initiative is part of the city’s commitment to creating safer, healthier communities, with child-focused welfare at

the core of its social development goals.

Announced in conjunction with the Year of Community, the Dubai Child Protection Framework was approved in
February by The Executive Council of Dubai, chaired by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al
Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, the UAE's Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister.

Aligned with the Dubai Social Agenda 33, the framework ensures every child in Dubai is protected and supported.

It introduces a set of initiatives prioritising child development while recognising the family as the key environment for

nurturing and safeguarding children.

The framework also fosters collaboration among parents, communities and institutions to create a comprehensive
child protection system.
