Dubai Municipality is taking significant strides towards environmental sustainability with
the launch of its innovative smart marine scraper and a dedicated team for cleaning the
emirate's water canals and creeks. The state-of-the-art scraper, developed in
collaboration with Al Khattal Boat Factory, boasts remote operation with unlimited range
and real-time satellite monitoring. It leverages 5G technology for precise maneuvers
and efficient waste collection, featuring an intelligent marine survey system to identify
and remove floating waste. An interactive external environment system further
enhances safety by automatically preventing collisions.
