Literature Workshop In Tunisia

wrapped up the 'Children’s Literature Workshop.' This initiative, part of the Dubai International Programme for Writing (DIPW), took place over four
months in Tunis, Tunisia. Dr. Wafa Thabet Mezghani led the workshop, which attracted participants passionate about children's literature.

During the programme, attendees participated in interactive sessions that focused on brainstorming and feedback. They worked with professionals to
transform their initial ideas into complete stories ready for publication. This hands-on approach ensured participants gained practical skills in writing

for children.

The workshop included four in-person training sessions, each spanning three days. These sessions combined practical exercises with theoretical
learning. Writers of all levels explored topics like the history of children's literature, especially Arabic works, and literary genres. The importance of

pre-writing planning was also highlighted.

Participants delved into character development, plot structure, and narrative styles. They learned about titling, editing, book cover design, and
marketing strategies. The aim was to equip them with comprehensive skills necessary for crafting engaging children's stories.
