Aisha Abdulla Miran, Director-General of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), officially launched the Global Educa on and Training E
(GETEX), a highly an cipated three-day event aimed at student recruitment. The ceremony was a ended by key figures in educa on, including Chancel
Chancellors, and Provosts from major universi es in the region. Under the patronage of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coe
GETEX is being held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from April 24th to 26th.

GETEX covers a wide range of study streams, from emerging careers to tradi onal fields, focusing on areas like compu ng, technology, medicine, sciences, le
and future career paths. With over 200 universi es from 30 countries par cipa ng, offering nearly 2,500 courses, the event is expected to a ract ove
visitors. GETEX promotes interna onal collabora on and educa onal advancement through its innova ve programs and networking opportuni es.

Aisha Abdulla Miran emphasized KHDA's commitment to empowering students in their higher educa on decisions. She invited visitors to explore the KHDA
learn about the diverse interna onal higher educa on op ons available in Dubai. With 38 licensed and accredited universi es offering over 650 programs,
increasingly recognized as a hub for quality higher educa on in the region, a rac ng future leaders and fostering innova on.

The event's highlights include the Academia Industry Innova on Conference, themed ‘Educa ng Future Leaders and Innovators,’ with a focus on ar ficial int
Alongside workshops, seminars, and discussions, ac vi es like an AI hackathon, startup showcase, youth career counselling, internship fair, innova on aw
roundtable discussions are planned. Over 30 seminars on higher educa on will guide students toward their academic goals. Overall, GETEX serves as a crucial
for students and the higher educa on sector, promo ng informed decision-making and facilita ng collabora on and innova on in educa on.
