Supporting Dubai’s Strategic Vision

Judge Dr Ebtisam Ali Al Badwawi reaffirmed the partnership’s alignment with Dubai’s strategic priorities and the directives of His Highness
Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, and
Chairman of the Dubai Judicial Council.

She said:

The ‘Legislative Drafting’ programme represents a significant step in developing a new generation of qualified legal professionals capable of
shaping and modernising the Emirate’s legal landscape.

By combining institutional collaboration with a focus on knowledge exchange, the partnership between the SLC and DJI aims to enhance
Dubai’s leadership in the legislative and judicial sectors — preparing national cadres to craft modern laws that address current requirements
and anticipate future developments.
