Tourism contributed 11.7% to the UAE’s gross domestic product (GDP) last year, amounting

to $59.89 billion (AED 220 billion). For 2024, it is forecast to contribute 12%, equating to

$64.25 billion (AED 236 billion), the country’s Minister of Economy Abdullah bin Touq Al

Marri said Tuesday.
