The General Authority for Sport has signed a memorandum of understanding
with the National Olympic Academy and the Emirates Center for Sports Science
and Sports Medicine, with the aim of strengthening cooperation in the field of
organization and resource development. in the sport sector, in accordance with
the 50 Principles that aim to promote investment in human capital and
increase the exchange of experts, as well as specialists in the field of sport and
its applied sciences, which help to strengthen alliances between institutions in
the sport sector, improve administrative work and train new ones. A
generation that can lead the future of the sports sector.
The Secretary General of the General Authority for Sports, Syed Abdul Ghaffar
Hussain, and the Deputy Secretary General for Administrative and Financial
Affairs of the National Olympic Committee, Aza bint Suleiman, were present at
the signing of the agreement.
Syed Abdul Ghafar said: The government, in cooperation with partners, hopes
to work together in the sports sector and accelerate the pace of administrative
work, increasing the professional skills of all administrative staff, developing
working mechanisms and promoting them. Sustainable administrative
development and the creation of a fruitful collaborative environment that
encourages continuous development, as well as continuous work to keep up
with the latest international research, in order to qualify and strengthen new
employees so that they can take an active role and occupy leadership positions.
