Souad Jamal AlSerkal shared her entrepreneurial journey at the forum, highlighting perseverance and self-belief as keys to

success. She encouraged young women to embrace challenges as steps toward realising their dreams.

The forum also showcased achievements of young Emirati women like Aysha Al Obeidli, the youngest Emirati chef, who
urged youth to pursue their dreams with determination. Ghaya Al Ahbabi, UNICEF ambassador for COP28, spoke about

her dedication to sustainability and environmental advocacy.

Commitment to Gender Balance

Amna Al Suwaidi highlighted Dubai’s commitment to empowering women as key partners in development. Initiatives

supporting work-life balance, continuous training, mentorship, and gender-balanced leadership were emphasised as
central to driving Dubai’s progress.

The forum marked its 10th anniversary since being announced by H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak in 2015. Held at The

Ritz-Carlton, Dubai International Financial Centre, it featured ten panel discussions showcasing UAE's advancements in
women's empowerment.
