“The municipality’s teams are managing the issue and conducting the necessary clean-up operations in
accordance with established protocols to ensure environmental safety and public health,” the spokesperson said.

Dubai Municipality workers worked to drain flooded streets following the torrential rain on April 16 that brought a
record rainfall in the country and sparked widespread flooding.

Dubai Municipality Director General Dawoud Al Hajri said that more than 2,425 technicians, workers and engineers
