AD Ports Group is a major investor in Pakistan, a key strategic gateway to
Central Asia and Russia. In partnership with Kaheel Terminals, AD Ports
Group is already engaged in developing, operating, and managing
container, bulk, and general cargo operations at the Port of Karachi.
The UAE has long been one of Pakistan’s largest trade partners, with over
$10 billion (AED 36.7 billion) in foreign investment over the past 20 years.

Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade,
emphasized that, “The MoUs signed today establish a new phase of
prosperity in trade and investment. They will open new opportunities for
businesses and foster sustainable development, driving joint economic
growth for both nations.”
Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, Managing Director and Group CEO of
AD Ports Group, stated that, “These MoUs reflect AD Ports Group’s
commitment to fostering mutual growth and strengthening ties between
the UAE and Pakistan.
The signing of these MoUs follows AD Ports Group’s continued investment
in Pakistan’s infrastructure. In February 2024, the group secured a 25-year
concession agreement with the Karachi Port Trust to develop and manage
bulk and general cargo terminal berths at Karachi Port’s East Wharf.
