Bridgestone reinforced its commitment to sustainable mobility by showcasing innovative fleet solutions at
Automechanika Network 2025, held at the Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights.
As the lead sponsor of the event, Bridgestone highlighted its dedication to promoting sustainable practices and advanced fleet
management solutions to enhance safety, efficiency, and environmental responsibility.
Berk Berksoy, Bridgestone’s Fleet Solutions OEM and Retread Manager, delivered a keynote presentation titled ‘Bridgestone
Fleet Care,’ emphasising the importance of sustainable practices and their direct impact on operational efficiency. “We
understand the challenges our fleet customers face on the road,” Berksoy explained. “That’s why we created Fleet Care,
offering reliable, round-the-clock breakdown support through a seamless app and call centre experience. Our customers are at
the heart of everything we do, and we are committed to earning their trust every mile of the way. As we grow, our sights are
set on Oman and Saudi Arabia.”
Fleet Care integrates essential fleet management services, including tyre maintenance, vehicle care, and proactive
management solutions, all accessible through a unified digital platform. This strategic approach aims to significantly reduce
operational costs and downtime, improve fleet safety, and enhance overall performance.
Recent industry data revealed at the event shows that battery issues cause 32% of vehicle breakdowns in the UAE, with
radiator leakages accounting for 23%. Recognising these prevalent challenges, Bridgestone’s Breakdown Service provides
rapid roadside assistance through a dedicated mobile application and multilingual call centre, promising a response time of
just 45 minutes region-wide.
The Breakdown Service also ensures real-time GPS tracking and streamlined communication among fleet managers, drivers,
and service technicians, minimising downtime and associated operational disruptions.
Moreover, this initiative aligns seamlessly with Bridgestone’s E8 Commitment framework, which focuses on sustainable and
responsible fleet operations. Through targeted solutions, Bridgestone enables customers to effectively reduce emissions,
optimise fuel efficiency, and maintain greener operations, significantly lowering their environmental impact.
