ABU DHABI, 14th August 2025 – The United Arab Emirates’ civil aviation sector has achieved significant
growth across key performance indicators in the first half of 2025, underscoring its strength, resilience, and

continued development as a global leader in air transport.

According to sector data, airports across the UAE welcomed 75.4 million passengers between January and June
2025, up from 71.7 million during the same period last year, representing a 5 percent increase. January recorded
the highest monthly traffic, with more than 13.7 million travellers.
