institutions alike. Enhancing the linguistic competence of legal professionals in precise linguistic
drafting constitutes an investment in justice and the rule of law. Accurate and clear legal language
prevents disputes and protects rights.”
The ‘Linguistic Security’ workshop forms part of a wider series of initiatives undertaken by the
SLC General Secretariat to reinforce the linguistic dimension of legislative work and strengthen
the Arabic language as one of the main pillars of national identity.
