structure intended to reduce rolling resistance.

The partnership makes Bridgestone the exclusive tire supplier for

the optional GTI-performance package available with the Golf GTI
EDITION 50. The vehicle uses 19-inch Bridgestone Potenza Race

tires sized 235/35 R19 91Y, which feature Volkswagen sidewall
markings to indicate their exclusive development for this model.

Bridgestone developed and produced the tires in Europe as part of

its Potenza racing tire family. The company positions itself as a
global leader in premium tires and sustainable mobility solutions,
operating across 35 countries in the Europe, Middle East and
Africa region.

The Golf GTI EDITION 50 will be classified under "pre-production
models" in the official Nürburgring records until the vehicle
becomes available for customer orders. The record-setting lap

demonstrates the collaboration between the two companies in
developing performance-focused automotive components.
