Emirati theater is poised for a major revival as DXB LIVE, the experiential agency of Dubai World
Trade Centre, announces two special performances of ‘One Thousand Nights and a Wedding’ by the

Shabab Al Ahli Theatre Group on May 7 and 8, 2025. Scheduled during the festive Eid Al Adha
celebrations, this production marks a pivotal moment in DXB LIVE’s mission to reinvigorate the Emirati
cultural scene and promote local artistic talent.

This theatrical comeback is part of a broader vision, with DXB LIVE developing a robust calendar of

Emirati theater performances throughout 2025. The initiative is designed to foster greater appreciation
for Emirati arts and provide a powerful platform for young Emirati actors and creatives.
