SHARJAH: The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), in partnership with the National

CSR Fund (MAJRA), hosted a workshop aimed at promoting Corporate Social Responsibility
(CSR) within the private sector. The event, themed “Impact Labs,” focused on encouraging businesses

to embrace CSR initiatives that align with the UAE’s sustainable development goals.

Held at the SCCI headquarters, the session attracted government officials and private sector
representatives. The event was led by Jamal Saeed Buzanjal, Director of SCCI’s Corporate

Communication Department, alongside officials from key government entities and industry stakeholders.

The workshop provided insight into MAJRA’s strategic objectives, including its flagship programmes

and national initiatives designed to support sustainability, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)
