UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has launched the 'Barakatna' initiative,

aimed at enhancing the wellbeing of senior citizens in Abu Dhabi.

The initiative, led by Abu Dhabi's Department of Community Development in collaboration with the Family
Development Foundation and other local entities, focuses on improving home care services for seniors and
supporting caregivers.

Sheikh Mohamed said the programme reflects the UAE’s deep respect and gratitude for the contributions of senior

citizens, calling them a vital pillar of society whose wisdom continues to guide future generations.
