H.E. Abdullah Al Darmaki said: “The Association has established a collaborative mechanism with

sports clubs to explore and train more talents. We also aspire to host international beach volleyball
championships in the upcoming years capitalizing on the possibilities offered by the UAE’s

numerous beaches, adding more value to the country’s reputation as a destination capable of
hosting leading global sports events.

The Association further highlighted a study-based on a quadrilateral analysis of volleyball practice
in the UAE, which analyses challenges, opportunities, strength and weaknesses. The Association

emphasised the importance of developing young talents by increasing the number of games in this
category, in addition to the fixed calendar that helps national clubs organise their work to achieve

better participation in all championships.

The General Authority of Sports strives to promote sports and games talents in the UAE and raise

generations that are physically and technically equipped to contribute to the strengthening of

national teams by helping them secure more victories locally and globally.
