UAE Participates In Council Of Arab Ministers Of Youth

And Sports Meetings In Baghdad

The UAE took part in the 48th session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports, as well
as the 71st session of the Executive Office of the Council, held in Baghdad. Ghanem Mubarak Al
Hajri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Sports, represented the UAE. The meetings included
ministers and officials from various Arab countries and representatives from the Arab League.

Several projects aimed at empowering Arab youth were discussed during these meetings. Key
initiatives included the Arab Strategy for Youth, Peace, and Security, set to launch in 2025 and
feature in the upcoming Arab Summit agenda. Discussions also covered establishing the Arab
Youth Union and the Arab Forum for Young Inventors.

Programmes designed to empower youth and enhance their roles in community development were
highlighted. The meetings explored ways to improve sports infrastructure across Arab nations,
