efforts aim to elevate youth involvement in societal advancement.
Al-Hajri stressed the UAE's commitment to supporting joint Arab efforts in sports development and
youth empowerment. He highlighted that this aligns with the leadership's vision to promote
integration and cooperation. The goal is to develop effective initiatives that enhance the Arab sports
sector's role as a key pillar of sustainable development.
The discussions also addressed several proposals related to youth and sports issues. One
significant proposal was creating a fund to rebuild sports facilities damaged in Gaza and southern
Lebanon. Other topics included the Arab Forum for Camping and Scouting and an Excellence and
Creativity Award for talented youth.
The meetings concluded with several important recommendations. Notably, Amman was
announced as the Arab Youth Capital for 2025. Additionally, Jordan will host the launch of the
implementation plan for the Arab Strategy for Youth, Peace, and Security for 2023-2028.
These discussions underscore a collective effort to advance youth empowerment across Arab
countries. By focusing on infrastructure development, community engagement, and strategic
initiatives, these efforts aim to open new opportunities for young people to contribute significantly
