7X, previously Emirates Post Group, has launched a new subsidiary aimed at transforming the courier,
express and parcel (CEP) landscape in the UAE.
EMX is a dedicated entity within the 7X group that will provide enhanced logistics capabilities using the
latest technologies, focusing on reliable and fast courier services and tailored solutions.
Tariq Al Wahedi has been appointed as EMX’s general manager. He commented, “With the convergence of
digital and physical commerce, the significance of advanced logistics solutions is increasing. EMX
transcends beyond offering logistics solutions; it also reflects a visionary approach within the CEP industry.
Our mission is to transform the sector by providing credible, reliable, fast and innovative delivery solutions
that are tailored to align with the distinct needs of every customer.”
Abdulla Mohammed Alashram, group CEO of 7X, added, “In line with our expansion strategy, we have
taken our existing CEP services and established a dedicated entity to contribute to and benefit from the
growing CEP industry. The establishment of EMX stands as a strategic response to the changing dynamics
of the global CEP market. It reflects our commitment to adopting innovative delivery solutions customized
