Hotels across the UAE hosted over 16.1 million guests during the first half of 2025, marking a 5.5%

increase compared to the same period last year, according to Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of

Economy and Tourism.

Steady growth in hospitality

Speaking during the third Hospitality Advisory Council meeting of the year, Al Marri highlighted the

continued growth of the hospitality sector, describing it as a reflection of the UAE’s resilience and appeal

as a global tourism destination.
