        The revenue of hotels in the UAE reached AED 26.0 billion in the first of 2025, an increase
        of 6.3 percent from the previous year, strengthening the country’s position in the
        international tourism market. Sustained efforts to diversify the country’s tourism and
        hospitality industries is evident in the increase of hospitality revenues.

        The objective to further increase the revenues from tourism to AED 450 billion in 2031
        illustrates the UAE’s commitment to developing its economy through tourism. The emirates
        continues to showcase the successful implementation of its tourism strategies, with the
        latest set of data presented at the Emirates Tourism Council’s third meeting of 2025. The
        hospitality industry remains the foremost contributor to the immense revenues of the UAE
        economy, thus the Tourism Vision continues to position the UAE as a global tourism hub.

















        One key indication of the sector’s performance is the hotel occupancy rate, which currently
        stands at a remarkable 80.5%. Such numbers correlate with the growing demand for
        hospitality at a national level. The growth can be traced back to the UAE’s logistical
