The UAE also ranked first worldwide in the air transport quality index and secured positions

among the top ten in five other international aviation indicators. Officials credited these

achievements to national strategies driven by the country’s leadership, which has prioritized
competitiveness, innovation and sustainability in the sector.

Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism and Chairman of the

General Civil Aviation Authority, said the accomplishments reinforce the UAE’s position on
the global aviation map. He emphasized the industry’s role in supporting economic growth and

advancing a model that integrates technology, safety and service excellence.

The aviation sector remains a cornerstone of the UAE’s long-term economic vision, with its
growth seen as vital to strengthening the country’s status as a leading international destination

for travel and trade.
