UAE Airports Achieve Milestone Of Over 1 Billion Passengers

growth, with over one billion passengers passing through its airports from 2015 to 2024. Aircraft movements have also

surpassed 6.4 million during this period. The Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre reported these figures,

highlighting the country's top global ranking in air transport quality and its presence among the top ten in five other
indicators.

Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism and Chairman of the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA),

credited these achievements to national strategies guided by leadership. He stated that the sector is shaping the future

while achieving significant milestones. "These outcomes reinforce the UAE’s standing on the global aviation and travel
map," he said.
