Data from the Centre showed passenger traffic at UAE airports increased from 114.8 million in 2015 to 147.8 million in

2024. This includes arrivals, departures, and transit travellers, contributing to over one billion passengers in total during this
decade.

Aircraft movements also saw a rise, with more than 800,000 by the end of 2024. This brought the total number of flights
arriving and departing to over 6.4 million throughout these years.
