The Council explored the next phase of the Arab joint economic action programme. This includes removing customs
barriers, completing requirements for the Arab Customs Union, and activating GAFTA. Additionally, discussions covered
developing transportation networks among Arab states and promoting entrepreneurship through joint financing initiatives
and training programs.
On a social level, several initiatives were examined to support public health programmes and broaden educational
initiatives that develop future-ready skills. The Council also discussed strengthening cultural and media collaboration
among member states to empower women and youth in the labour market. The Arab strategy for empowering people with
determination was also reviewed, aligning with the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
Al Saleh emphasised that agenda items address regional priorities amid international shifts. These include enhancing intra-
