Thani Al Zeyoudi, Solomon Islands PM inaugurate embassy in Abu Dhabi

Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, and Jeremiah Manele, Prime
Minister of the Solomon Islands, on Monday inaugurated the Solomon Islands Embassy in Abu
Dhabi, in the presence of embassy members and a number of business leaders.

Dr. Al Zeyoudi and Prime Minister Manele unveiled the plaque of the new embassy, officially
marking the opening of the Solomon Islands' diplomatic mission in the capital, Abu Dhabi. The
event was attended by Cornelius Walegerea, Ambassador of the Solomon Islands to the UAE, along
with members of the foreign diplomatic corps of the Soloman Islands.

Al Zeyoudi emphasised that the inauguration of the new embassy underscores the two nations'
commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing their cooperation in various fields.
He noted that it marks an important milestone in the flourishing relations between the two
countries.
