The United Arab Emirates has transferred the presidency of the preparatory meetings for the 115th
session of the Arab Economic and Social Council to Bahrain. These meetings began at the General
Secretariat of the Arab League, where the Social Committee gathered to draft the agenda
concerning social matters for this session. The UAE delegation was led by Juma Mohammed Al Kait,
Assistant Under-Secretary for Foreign Trade Affairs at the Ministry of Economy, along with other
ministry officials.

Al Kait emphasised the UAE's steadfast dedication to supporting joint Arab initiatives across various
sectors, including social projects. This aligns with the leadership's vision and directives. During its
presidency of the 114th session, the UAE actively supported efforts to advance social progress,
contributing to comprehensive and sustainable development in the region.
