As Ramadan 2025 continues, UAE residents are embracing all sorts of travel, with
rising demand for international destinations, a surge in staycations in Dubai, and a
noticeable increase in flight prices.

Wego, the leading travel app and largest online travel marketplace in the Middle East
and North Africa (MENA), has shared exclusive insights into the travel trends that are
shaping this year’s Ramadan season.

International travel demand soars

Wego’s latest data shows a remarkable 32.45% increase in year-on-year international
flight searches from the UAE, signaling that many residents are making the most of
Ramadan with trips abroad.

The most popular destinations include Egypt, India, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the
Philippines, Lebanon, Morocco, and Nepal—locations traditionally favoured for family
visits, religious travel, and short breaks.
