young industry leaders who showcased their innovative local projects and products that meet the

A number of young industry leaders expressed their pride in participating in the "Made in the Emirates"
forum, noting that the event provided them with a unique platform to connect with decision-makers and
investors and showcase their capabilities in developing local products with international
        specifications.

In statements to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), participants emphasized that the forum reflects the
country's commitment to supporting young national talent and enhancing their opportunities to
confidently enter the local manufacturing market and effectively contribute to building a sustainable
economy based on knowledge and innovation.

Regarding the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development's role in "Make in the Emirates" to support
industry leaders, Zayed Al Khazaimi, Senior Business Consultant at the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise
Development, emphasized the importance of the fund's participation in the forum's activities, given the
vital role the industrial sector plays in Abu Dhabi's economy and in supporting the country's industrial
        vision.

He said: "The Fund's presence at the forum comes as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting
entrepreneurs and enhancing the competitiveness of local products through their industrial projects.
As a government institution, we take pride in our role in empowering entrepreneurs and strive to
provide a stimulating environment for the growth and expansion of their businesses."

He added: “Through our participation this year, we are launching a number of strategic initiatives that
serve the entrepreneurship ecosystem in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the country, most notably the
‘Export Empowerment’ initiative, which aims to enable local products to access global markets, and the
‘Financing Facilitation’ initiative, which works to bridge the gap between entrepreneurs’ financing
needs and the requirements of financial institutions.”

He also pointed to the "Abu Dhabi SME Champions" initiative, which focuses on connecting
entrepreneurs with key buyers in the emirate and facilitating their integration into government and
        semi-government supply chains.
